Buddys’ Pousada and Guesthouse is English owned and has been put together by travellers for travellers, a friendly place to stay where you can meet other backpackers, swap tall tales and travelling wisdom, and find out all you need to know about the town of Itacare and everything it has to offer.
Buddy’s offers a budget option for backpackers looking to get the most from their time in Itacare,if it’s a clean hostel style dorm or private room you’re looking for, a communal area, laundry service, local knowledge, cheap offers on activities around the town, wi-fi, tours and travel agency service – we’ve probably got it covered at Buddys’.
If you´re travelling on your own and want to meet like-minded people - or you´re in a travelling band of bedraggled backpackers with months of travel-weary emotions to share, this is the place for you.

About Us
We are a British collective who have spent years travelling. If you turn up at Buddys right now you'll find Paekan & Jessica a married Capoeirista couple who are also fellow travelers. Paekan
speaks Portuguese, French, Spanish, and English. Not to leave Jessica out, she can give you Samba lesson's at the pousada or for the rest of you that just want to relax, a facial.
During our journeys we’ve stayed at many hostels and guesthouses, some good, some bad, and some ugly.
We felt that we could take the best bits of some, and learn from the worst bits of others, and do a pretty good job of running our own guesthouse.
Buddys’ is named after our dog, who died just a few days after we bought the pousada in Itacare.
