About Buddy's
Buddys’ Pousada and Guesthouse is Irish/French run and has been put together by travellers for travellers, a friendly place to stay where you can meet other backpackers, swap tall tales and travelling wisdom, and find out all you need to know about the town of Itacare and everything it has to offer.
Buddy’s offers a budget option for backpackers looking to get the most from their time in Itacare,if it’s a clean hostel style dorm or room you’re looking for, a communal area, full use of our kitchen, friendly service, local knowledge, cheap offers on activities around the town, wi-fi, tours and travel agency service – we’ve probably got it covered at Buddys’.
If you´re travelling on your own and want to meet like-minded people - or you´re in a travelling band of bedraggled backpackers with months of travel-weary emotions to share, this is the place for you.

About Us
We are a two lads from Ireland who have spent many years travelling. During our journeys we’ve stayed at many hostels and guesthouses, some good, some bad, and some ugly.
We felt that we could take the best bits of some, and learn from the worst bits of others, and do a pretty good job of running our own guesthouse.
Buddys’ is named after our friend's dog (the owners), who sadly died – just a few days after they bought the pousada in Itacare.
